We’re unlocking a full slate of events, activities, and tours for this year’s SYNERGY participants. From jet ski outings to morning workouts to an in-depth tour of the only cigar factory still operating in the area, there’s something for everyone. Are you ready?
Steppers Club
Start your SYNERGY experience with a spring in your step! Each day of the conference, runners and walkers are invited to special morning workouts on the famous Tampa Riverwalk. These 30-minute sessions are appropriate for all athletic levels (with walkers and runners forming two separate groups).
Calling All Kayakers
Tampa’s stunning waterfront is the perfect setting for kayakers to paddle from mysterious stands of mangroves to stunning beachside mansions. This adventure-filled circuit gives SYNERGY participants the opportunity to connect with nature, the water, and their own inner curiosity. Kayakers have the choice of paddling solo or in pairs, in brand-new Crescent kayaks. Go beyond your normal sightseeing experience and find a new way to explore Tampa.
Jet Ski Jubilee
We’re excited to share the beauty and glamour of Tampa Bay’s waterfront. For those wanting to go full-throttle on the sea, we’re offering SYNERGY participants a 1-hour guided jet ski tour across the Bay. Experience the many sides of Tampa, all while cruising along on your own jet ski. The tour includes a waterfront view of the mansions of Davis Island, a pass by the historic grounds of the University of Tampa, and a chance to hit the waves surrounded by the vibrant downtown skyline of Tampa.
Cigar City Magic
Of the 150 cigar factories that used to populate Cigar City, USA, only a single remaining factory, El Reloj, still operates. We’ve booked a special 75-minute tour of the historic El Reloj factory, so that interested SYNERGY participants can explore the art of cigar making. Witness the history of the Newman family legacy and the rise of Cigar City while walking through the corridors of the oldest family-owned cigar maker in America. You’ll also get to see the process of cigarmaking, both by hand and with antique machines, in El Reloj’s historic factory floors. This incredible opportunity includes round-trip transportation.
