TradePMR to match dollar-for-dollar on wristband sales up to $1000.
TradePMR, a local custodial and fintech firm for financial advisors and Swamp Head Brewery are teaming up to raise funds for the furriest victims of Hurricane Dorian. The duo will host a benefit for the Humane Society of Grand Bahama on Wednesday, September 18 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at Swamp Head Brewery.
“As Floridians, we were lucky. However, our neighbors suffered a tremendous blow, and we must do what we can to help them not only survive, but thrive during this time of rebuilding,” said Monika Baldwin, director of social media, TradePMR. “We encourage our local neighbors to come support a group in great need.”
The Humane Society of Grand Bahama is currently in the process of caring for numerous animals that survived Hurricane Dorian’s wrath. According to their most recent Facebook page, Wings of Rescue are in the process of evacuating animals off the island to U.S. based no-kill rescue shelters. While the animals are still on the island, staff are attempting to keep pace with the ongoing needs of the animals, providing food, shelter, and medical attention.
Wristbands to enter will be $7 at the door. Swamp Head will be offering 10% off all alcohol purchases. TradePMR will be matching dollar for dollar wristband sales up to $1,000. For more information or to RSVP to the event, visit the event Facebook page.
