As Social Media Director at TradePMR, Monika Baldwin is able to deliver messages of positivity and accountability across the many communities she is a member of, both professionally and personally. Regardless of the community, Baldwin works to lift up those she encounters. “Empowered women empower other women,” Baldwin said. “One of the best ways to empower others is to lead by example.”
Baldwin’s efforts have not gone unnoticed. On Monday, July 16, 2018, Gainesville’s business community gathered to honor some of the community’s most influential women. Baldwin was one of 25 women in the community to name as a 2018 Fierce Award winner. Each year, Business in Greater Gainesville honors transformative and inspirational women that work to better the community through entrepreneurial, charitable and executive work.
In an interview with Business in Greater Gainesville, Baldwin lamented, “The word fierce encompasses so many areas relating to our mind, body and spirit. I picture the embodiment of a woman who is confident, beautiful and wise. To me, it means embracing who you are and showcasing strength, courage and determination in your actions.” She hopes to share this message with other women entering the financial services industry, especially those who are looking to become an independent financial advisor.
