TradePMR Named One of the Best Companies to Work for in Gainesville and Florida

Feb 13, 2024 11:29:20 AM

The RIA technology and custodial services provider ranked 10th among midsized companies in Florida.

GAINESVILLE and TAMPA, Fla. – February 07, 2024TradePMR, a technology and custodial services provider for Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs), ranked ninth in the Greater Gainesville Best Places to Work survey, featured in the December 2023 issue of the Guide to Greater Gainesville Monthly.1 The honor comes on the heels of TradePMR being named one of the Best Companies To Work For in Florida for the second consecutive year.2 Florida Trend magazine ranked TradePMR 10th among midsized companies in July3 after ranking the company 13th in the same category in 2022.

“One of the biggest challenges for any firm is maintaining a strong culture as you grow and scale,” said Robb Baldwin, Founder and CEO of TradePMR. “At TradePMR, we’ve invested time and resources to ensure every team member feels valued, supported, and confident in their role. We believe this honor is a testament to our focus on a strong company culture, and we are committed to continuing this work for years to come.”

The company supports professional development in a few key ways, including an Education Assistance Program that provides tuition reimbursement and supports other certification and professional growth programs spanning financial services and other disciplines. The firm also has an employee-led philanthropy program, providing each employee with a dollar-for-dollar match-back program and paid time off for philanthropy initiatives. For example, in 2023 TradePMR partnered with Alachua Habitat for Humanity, where employees helped build a house for a family in need.

“Our team is deeply service-minded – it’s been both impressive and invigorating to watch how they have benefitted our communities in recent years,” said Baldwin. “We are thrilled to offer programs to help support our fellow Floridians. We are fortunate to be in a position where we can give back and look forward to all the great philanthropic initiatives our team will continue pursuing in the coming years.”

Participating in the Greater Gainesville Best Places to Work survey required companies to be independent (not a subsidiary or division of another company), have at least five employees (not including owners), and be in business for at least two years. The survey measures six key areas that make up an organization’s culture, ranging from compensation and benefits to trust in senior leadership. Companies must reach a minimum level of employee participation (based on total number of employees) to be eligible as a finalist. 4
