Introducing the Next Generation of TradePMR’s Fusion Technology

Mar 19, 2025 9:21:29 AM

With new features like modules and an improved login page, we’re making Fusion
better for advisors by focusing on three pillars: communications, wayfinding, and ease of doing business.

TradePMR listens to the financial advisors who work with us.

It’s a philosophy that drives everything we do here, including how we design technology. It’s
what helps us continue to earn high marks from advisors, such as an “extraordinary” average
satisfaction score for our Fusion technology in the 2025 T3/Inside Information Software Survey.1

But we also believe in a culture of innovation and never resting on our laurels. We know there’s
work to be done, because we’ve heard it directly from our advisors.

“I want TradePMR advisors to know that they're in very good hands,” said Laura Villanueva,
Senior UX Product Designer at TradePMR. “We are serious and focused on engaging with them
early and often. Delivering on their unique and exact needs is our top priority versus simply
working to compete with other custodians.”

Our product team has been busy implementing advisors’ feedback to build a new generation of
Fusion that we believe will improve their experience in three key ways: communications,
wayfinding, and making it easier to do business.

Today, we’re launching some new features that we believe will give advisors greater control
over their Fusion experience while reducing the dreaded “swivel chair” effect. Key reports, such
as Positions, Account Activity, and Deposits/Withdrawals, can be accessed in a new module
through the top navigation bar, giving advisors the ability to access key features without having
to leave the current screen they’re working on. This module can also be expanded into a new
window and arranged how advisors see fit, helping advisors increase efficiency through
customization. Windows can be moved to a second monitor to create a dashboard-like
experience with various modules arranged according to each advisor’s preferences.

We’ve also expanded this modular functionality to third-party apps that advisors use through
Fusion, such as apollo. Apps can be accessed from the top navigation bar or popped out into a
new window to be accessed more easily. The whole idea is to help every advisor tailor their
Fusion experience with the information they want most, however they want to access it, without
having to interrupt their current workflow. Our hope is that the days of swiveling in and out of the most commonly used features will soon be over.

TradePMR is also introducing a new advisor login page to Fusion that can display banners to
help promote useful information, news, features, services, and products. As part of our focus on
improving communications, we hope this new Fusion login page helps keep advisors notified
about important events that may impact their business.

These updates are just one piece of TradePMR’s ongoing rollout of our next-generation Fusion
platform. Already, we’ve made key features like money movement more accessible, given
advisors more control over their Fusion landing screen, and introduced new widgets to help
advisors access important information more quickly. We’re also working to make navigation of
Fusion more intuitive, enhancing the search experience, improving digital account opening, and
introducing new artificial intelligence tools to help streamline account transfers and automate
notetaking.

We’re just getting started! Coming soon, we’ll be sharing more information about improved
navigation and wayfinding. Stay tuned!
